
“Running on Time” – SBS
In celebrating 100 years of the Central clocktower this year, SBS is broadcasting Sydney Trains award-winning short documentary ‘Running on Time’ (2015).
Running on Time traces the evolution of railway time through early mechanical time keeping to modern satellite systems. In the documentary, we meet the railway staff who maintain various clocks, watches and time keeping devices that connect our rail system, and explores technological changes that are integral in delivering today’s passenger rail services.
